Read more...I was raised to say "Bless You" after someone sneezes and I have been saying it to Miss Priss since she was able to sneeze. Chris' family says "Skit Skat" and i HATE that!!! So this morning when we were still trying to wake up in bed, i sneezed and much to my surprise Miss Priss turned to me and said "Bwessss You" in the SWEETEST voice. Hehehe!! I was so excited and amused. I said "thank you so much baby!" and she grinned, proudly.
Read more...My dad(Papa T) bought Miss Priss a pink and purple tricycle for her 1st birthday and she was far to small at the time to do anything w/ it. She was, though, very interested. That turned into a scary situation that entailed her climbing up and standing on the seat. EEK! After that we took it upstairs and stored it in the "extra room"(which is now her room) Anyway..she saw it and decided she had to have it back out. She has been sitting on it and pushing both peddles at the same time for about a month now, but today a milestone was reached. She actually peddled across the room w/ her pink balloon tied to the handle bars! LOL it's so cute and we're super proud of her!!

I went to the dr this morning for my first visit and i went w/ no expecations because of all the bad/sad stories i've heard, but thankfully everything looked healthy! Baby is measuring at about 6-7weeks just like i thought. There wasn't much of a "baby" shape yet, but there was a flickering heartbeat. Ahh i love that!! I also have the greatest dr! He was just amazing..so personable and down to earth. A vast step up from the doctor that delivered Cami. They also drew 6 little tubes of blood and gave me a flu shot. Yuck-O, but i figured what the heck..i've been sick so much what's a little more from the shot? Haha! Anyway that's my update!

Yesterday we went to Wal Mart(of course, i know) and the whole way there Miss Priss is talking ninety to nothing. I love that she communicates so well w/ me now, but sometimes she drives me a bit insane saying the same things over and over. LOL! When we left Wal Mart, though, she was very sleepy and instead of chatting away she leaned her head to the side and just gazed out the window smiling at the birds. As we pulled into the drive way she looked at me and said "Moma, home?!" AWW it was so cute to me! She has always known when we were home, but she actually said it and it was just so sweet.

Read more...In my corner of the world ,the weather is beautiful!! It does not seem like February. I remember last year it was snowing at this time and there is no trace of that anywhere in sight this year. It's been around 60 degrees and sunny the past couple of days. It has, however, been pretty windy, making it have a nip of chill in the air. But all in all i'm loving it!! Great park weather as long as you're bundled up.
I know i'm not very good at keeping my info private, but i'd like to do the best i can at it. So i am now MrsMoma and my DD is Miss Priss. :) Hope that doesn't get to confusing..it's all i could come up with at 10:30pm!

Read more...Victoria's Secret, that is. My mom,Cami and i went for a sushi lunch and then to the mall today while she was off of work. We stopped by Victoria's Secret to just browse and then got interested in all of the "play w/ me" things. The first thing i tried was the awesome Bare Bronze Sun Dust Body Bronzer. It made my face instantly glow w/ a pretty tan color! Yippie that's exactly what i'll need when i'm fat and preggo this summer. Then i found some So Sexy Wave Enhancer for my hair which just so happened to be scrunched today. It seriously gave it so much more curl and body!! Last i found Very Sexy Lip Gloss called Make Out. I thought it looked way to red, but i put it on anyway and LOVED the color! I wrote everything down so i won't forget and am definitely going back to get it!!!

than AT&T! I went w/ my mom to Wal Mart tonight to exchange her phone and i was pouting like a 3 year old when i saw the different phone choices. She got the new Scoop phone that is totally awesome(reverting to my inner surfer girl). It has a slide out keyboard! I have a really old LG crapper. It does manage to take pics, short videos and not drop my calls so i guess i should be thankful. But geeze doesn't it feel like Christmas all over when you get a new phone? I have a whole other year before my contract is up. *WAHHH*
Hmm.. guess it was before my time. Chris is all about watching it tonight though so i guess i'll see what i think about it. A car driving itself is just kind of silly to me. Give me a reality show anyday and i'll be happy!!

Oh and in the car, she obviously has been watching me because we'll be riding down the road and she'll say "push!" The first time i was like what is she talking about then i looked back and she was pushing the release button on the carseat!! I flipped out. haha! But i don't think she can "push" it hard enough to undo it. (I hope)
The reason it is so bruised is because they had to find an ARTERY not a VEIN so this is where they have to draw it. There are tons of nerves all around there and they hit probably every single one on the way. It still hurts SO bad!

I was in the Emergency Room all day yesterday and last night. I went in yest afternoon w/ chest pains. They released me and said i had bronchitis. I went to sleep for an hour last night and woke up and my entire back and chest were tigh and i couldn't breathe at ALL! I freaked out. My mom came and stayed w/ Cami and my dad rushed me back to the ER. They did EKG, chest x ray.. all fine.Then they hooked me up to IV w/ saline and then morphene for the pain. They had to do an AG something?? Where they have to get blood from your artery. OMG the worst pain ever yall i'm not even exagerating. They had to stick me four times to get the blood. I went from cold to a rolling sweat withing 2 minutes and started freaking out and yanking wires off my chest. It was just awful. Turns out i have SEVERE bronchitis and my muscles are bruised and sore from coughing so much for so long. I cna hardly breathe and haven't had but 4 hours sleep the last 2 days. I'm sorry to whine, but just thought i'd fill you all in. Will be back to normal soon..i hope!
Oh and my dad called Chris 13 times and he slept through it all! he was working out of town memba? Well he came home early this morning because he felt so bad. He has been so sweet to me. Taking care and giving lots of hugs. I think i will feel better soon enough.
Well since my hubby is out of town i will be celebrating the actual day of Valentine's by my lonesome. And w/ Miss Priss, of course. Last night when i got home from drinking coffee at Hastings, Chris has my new black swivel chair set up at the computer and a vase of Tulips waiting for me. Aw! Then he also got me a card that was funny, but sweet and had hand written a letter to me. I haven't gotten it yet though because he wasn't finished. He took it w/ him to finish at the jobsite. I really am a lucky girl :)
If you're wondering what i bought him.. get ready for the drum roll.... SOCKS! LMBO!! He begged me for them though, in my defense. Seriously this guy will only wear one brand of socks and i have to special order them off Jcpenny.com because he has such a big foot! I also bought him some candy and a card! Don't think i'm an awful wife. LOL!
I think Miss Priss and I will bake some cupcakes or cookies for the fun of it and so she can give daddy when he gets home. I'm going to buy her a balloon and a stuffed animal from us. She loves balloons and what kid doesn't need another stuffed animal? Hehe..

Yes that is right. I suffered that one night for nothing. Chris went out of town this morning for the whole week(well until Friday) So i don't feel like dealing w/ getting Miss Priss to sleep in her bed while he is away. I want her there w/ me to keep my company. Hehe! That's sad huh? I'm just used to herb eing there though..what can i say?

This is what went down..
I get woken up at 1am(or somewhre around there) by the same repetetive kicks in the back and yanks of the hair. I'm so exhausted at this point that i make up my mind.. She IS going to sleep in her bed tonight!!
So i picked her up and carried her in there. All the while she is awake and knows where we are headed. She starts screaming, kicking, flailing all over the place. I lay her down first then i climb into the bed w/ her. She's not settling down at all! I fake like i'm alseep..thinking that will make her realize i'm there w/ her. Nope! She continues to scream for an hour and a half saying "DADDY!!!!" "BED!!!" I ignored her..still faking sleep. She tries to climb down several times, but i just pick her back up and place her back in the middle of the bed. Another 30 mins goes by and finally she is calming down a little. Her poor little eyes look so pitiful and tired. I felt awful for doing this, but i know i need my sleep too!! As she is sniffin from the long bouts of crying i look over and she is sound asleep. Success!!
I slowly drag myself out of her bed and climb into my own. I wake up at 4:54am to screaming again. :( I ask Chris to please go check on her. What does he do? Brings her back to our bed.
This is going to be a long process, i'm afraid. I did get 2 hours of peaceful sleep for the first time ever though.
Yippie!! I'm excited i made it to 100 posts. Haha.. maybe that means i post to much.....
Read more...So we drove about an hour and half away from our house to go to this historic mountain here in Arkansas to let Miss Priss run around and play. She had a blast, but i was FREEZING!! Geeze it was cold. Super windy up there on top of that mountain. We only stayed about an hour.. so we spent much more time driving in the car than actually there. She wasn't a fan of the swings, but she loved the sucker on the way home. We stopped so i could go potty and i took her in and let her pick whatever she wanted. :)

All you Wal Mart shoppers are you buggys as awful as ours?? Seriously i've never noticed before until today, how many people actually "test" their buggy before taking off with it. We usually test 2-3 before finding a decent one! They either wobble back n forth, or make a loud "clank-clank" sounds, or a wheel is falling off. How expensive can it be, really?? I got an old school one the other day, you know the metal kind? It was prob one of the best ones i've had in a long time! Just goes to show how cheap we make everything these days. Plastic buggys..sheesh, gimmie a break!

Today Chris got off early and Cami and I were outside playing w/ the dog while he cleaned out his work truck. I went into the shed to get a ball for our dog and said "Chris call Cami because ther is mud over here.
He lethargically said "Cami...come here" very unenthusiastically!
She completely ignored him, rightfully so, and came sprinting towards me. Then what do ya know.. she faceplants in the mud. Mind you.. she has on white jogging pants and a white fuzzy sweater!!! (I know it is my fault for dressing her like that, but i hadn't planned on playing outside this morn when i dressed her.) Anyway.. i was like "CHRIS! I just asked you to watch her. YOU are getting this stain out!"
"HA okay.. " he says rolling his eyes.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! LOL.. i was so angry. Just a stain though right?
She is in a phase where she does NOT want to eat anything. So this morning she looked up at me and said
"Bilk??" "Juice?" "Water?" telling me she wanted something to drink.
And i said "No you eat your breakfast first"
She threw a little fit and i thought it was over. Then she walked up holding her biscuit and pretended like she was eating it.
I said "oh good you're eating, huh?"
She said "Bath?" and grabbed my hand and pulled me to the stairs.
I was like "you want a bath?" LOL! She said "Yes, Okay!"
Trying not to laugh i said "Not yet, you have to eat something." "Take one bite of your biscuit and moma will make you some milk."
She then took a nibble of her biscuit and smiled really big saying "K..bilk!!"
LMAO!! I'm sorry yall, but i guess you had to be here. It cracked me up!
We're still alive and thriving.. just been busy around the house. I will update w/ some fun news and pics soon. :)
