I felt semi-cute today. Want to know why? Because I wore jeans! LOL.. I have been wearing shorts since I got pregnant so to wear jeans made me feel a little more dressed up(even though I have on a tshirt and tennis shoes)

She is trying to give me a heart attack..I swear!
I'm sitting here making HairBows and I hear "Moma, Moma.." as she tottles down the stairs. (Mind you, she does this everyday, all day..so i'm not worried)
But this time, of course, something about this week..she falls!! And she falls down about 6 stairs, onto the hard tile floor! My gosh! I jumped up and grabbed her, checking her out, AGAIN, for the second time in less than 24 hours. :*( She is fine, but she has to big goose eggs on her cheek and forehead.
Once again, bubblewrap anyone?!?
I'm in a very sentimental mood today, so bear with me.
Last night, Cami did not want to go to sleep, not for all the tea in China.
Small recap: She hasn't napped in the passed 3 days, she woke up at 7am yesterday, then didn't want to go to sleep until almost 10:30 last night! That is unheard of for her!!
So.. we were laying down in bed by 9pm(yes that's early,we were very sleepy!waking up 4x to pee is for the birds!) Cami drank all of her milk, that she gets at bedtime, and still wasn't asleep. She got up and jumped and pounced around on the bed, laughing and jabbering the whole time. Chris and I were both exhausted and not in the mood for it, so we ignored her. About 45 minutes later she started watching t.v. in a trance, then flopped to the end of the bed and fell asleep. Ahh finally..I tried not to move an inch so I wouldn't disturb her.
Fast forward to 1:30am..I hear her talking to Chris. "Watch daddy, wanna sit daddy" (She was crawling on top of him saying she wanted to sit on his edge of the bed instead of the middle.)Then I hear it..the most heart dropping sound. *THUNK* she fell off the bed!!!! Have you seen our bed? Uh..it's really tall and high off the ground. She screamed out in pain or terror, i'm not sure, but it brought tears to my eyes. I scooped her up and just held her and rocked her. She kept trying to go back to sleep, but I wouldn't let her. I kept waking her up to make sure she didn't have a concussion or something. Finally an hour later, I quit talking to her and let her sleep peacefully.
I just laid there thinking about all of the bad things that could happen.. It's such a scary world and I know I can't protect my kids forever, but my goodness how I wish I could. I have severe anxiety disorder and having Cami(and being preg again) has tripled it. I'm sure a lot of it is just a mom thing, but I feel that I over react to everything she does. I'm ALWAYS scared something bad is going to happen to her. It has gotten a ton better since she was an infant, but I still feel myself hyperventilating everytime she cries out in pain! So that's why I wish we could bubble wrap our kids.

So, i've been in this nesting phase for a while now and I actually love it! My house has not been this clean since I was pregnant with Cami! I've organized and re organized so many times, but it just keeps getting better! Woo Hoo!

There is this one song on there..I have no idea what the title is, but it goes..
"Sing OHH for the Life of a Bear..Sing OHH for the Expedition.." she knows every word of the chorus and gets all giddy when it comes on! I tried to capture her expression, but all I could get was that buck tooth looking smile while she was in mid song! LOL! It is hilarious!
This post is a little unlike me, but I thought it was just so funny and embarassing at the same moment. It i sjust totally how I feel right now.
After Cami went to sleep last night, I decided to undress in front of Chris, just for fun. I NEVER do this.. you just have to know me, i'm very modest.
He laughed and said "Are you gettin' naked in front of me?" (this is hard for me to type, i'm laughing so hard) And I just looked back and said "maybe.."
All of the sudden, he said, "What's that on your butt?"
I was mortified!! LOL! It was TOILET PAPER!!! Grr.. I had went tinkle earlier and wiped front to back like a good girl and I lost the tp! HAH! I couldn't see over my belly to find it.
:*( boooo!!! I was just "over" the moment by then. LOL!
Okay..only 29weeks, but I feel like i'm 50 weeks all of the sudden..is that possible? Haha, i'm getting HUGE!! I'm not even eating that much yall..what is going on? I seriously cut out ALL sweets since finding out I gained 8lbs at the last dr appt. I've been eating healthy and drinking tons of water. BOO HOO!!

YES, it does! As sad as that is, I was truly ecstatic when I read the sign at the gas station yesterday!! I said "OMG, Chris look!!" haha, like I had seen a flying pig or something. But, no, it was just gas prices that had dropped about 6 cents since I bought gas last week.
Wanna know my little secret? You may already know, but i'll share anyway.
Go buy a Wal Mart gift card and get the amount that it usually takes to fill up your car. Then go to the Murphy gas station right next to Wal Mart and fill up, using your card. It saves you 3cents!! Yippie, so i'll actually be paying $3.70 :)!!
Yesterday afternoon, Cami had just woke up from a super long nap(yay!),I was cleaning up the downstairs, and Chris was bringing some clothes down to do the laudry.
Well, it seems that I do not realize how big my belly actually is because I bump into things all the time! I was walking to the kitchen and i ran smack into the side of my desk! Only I bumped it with my belly then bounced off and bumped my butt on the wooden chair behind me. I hollered "OUCH!!!" really loud, because I tend to get louder with my OUCHes and SHOOTS to avoid cussing.
Cami said "Ah, what happened moma?" I said "Moma got hurt :(" and she said "Okay, kiss?" But I was walking away as she said that, so she chases me across the room making kissy noises at my butt. LOL! Right at that time, Chris walked downstairs and was like.."hmm, Why is she running across the house trying to kiss your butt?"
BAHA!! I laughed SO hard! .. Maybe it's one of those *You had to be here* Moments!

We decided to do something a little different last night, so we went to an Arena Football Game. Chris has been wanting to go and it was the last game of the season, so we went ahead and went..with Cami! I was so nervous she would act terrible, but she loved it! She had a blast.
There was loud music, football playing, dancers dancing, yummy food, and lots of people! We had great seats where she could stand up and not be in anyone's way. She was just in awe of everything going on. We couldn't take our camera in , but Chris got a couple pics on his phone. I'll upload them later.
We stayed until the 4th period(which amazed me)and right as we were picking up to leave, the big furry mascot came walking by us. It's like a big blue monster! Cami loved seeing him down on the field dancing, but OMG as soon as he got close to us she SCREAMED!! The entire stadium turned and looked at us. Chris and I are both pretty easily embarassed so we were bright red! LOL..it was a sight, but we had a really good time.
I laughed so hard this morning!! We were all laying in bed, right after we woke up, and I asked Chris to scratch my back. He leaned over, raised the back of my shirt, and started scratching.
Cami looked at him with wide sleepy eyes and said "HEY..hey!! No daddy, Stop E, Das Mine!!" and promptly shoved my shirt done, then hugged my back. If he tried to touch me again, she would do the same.
Hilarious! It was so funny. Just had to share.
I am in semi nesting mode lately and have been going through all of my things. I decided to go through all of my things and get rid of some stuff that has been needing to go for quite some time now..
I realized that I am an Accessory Junkie!!! I need help .. It has carried over into Cami's closet as well..

LMBO! This is Chris' shelf. Notice 5 of the pairs of shoes on the shelf are mine. My really really ugly shoes that I never wear. *gag* Poor Chris..he needs more shoes.
I LOVE LipGlosses!!!!!!! They are my FAV! I cannot go into Bath and Body Works or MAC w/o buying at least one tube.

Corn Flake Coated Chicken.
I thought i'd make a Southern Style throwback to my dad's cooking. He used to make this for me when I was little because it is quick, easy, and good! Cami LOVED helping!!
Package of Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
Any brand Corn Flake Cereal
1 Egg
Splash of milk
Big Ziplock bag
Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
Fill the ziplock bag about 1/4 way full of corn flakes. Crush, crush, crush!!!
Dip the chicken in the egg/milk mixture. Then put 2 at a time in the ziplock bag. Shake, Shake, Shake!!!
When it is good and coated, take them out and place on a baking sheet. (I spray it with Pam first)
Bake for about 30-45 mins at 425 degrees (That's a guess..)

Remember, just a few hours ago, I posted this appreciation post to Chris. He came home from work today *beaming*! I mean giddy like a little boy that just got his favorite toy!
I said "Wow, what are you so happy about?" He quickly remarked "You'll see." and handed me an envelope that usually holds his weekly paycheck. In it was another sheet of paper. It read "BONUS..$1500" Then showed taxes that were extracted(of course, there has to be a let down in every story, right?) The final totaly was $1,001.19.
WOOOOOO HOOOO!!! I'm so excited. He deserves that so much! He works so hard at that job an even goes out of his way to help customers. I'm SO proud of him and so thankful that they took the time to acknowledge his efforts.

I'm not usually one to blog about Chris, or even mention him much, for that matter. We're not one of those lovey dovey couples who are constantly in awe of eachother.. that just isn't us. But after our troubles this passed year, we have really grown into one. It's like we're more of a team now. We set a rule that the computer will be turned off at 7pm every night so we can watch our shows together as a family and play with Cami(color, read books, etc..) Since then, things have steadily went uphill. We are much more affectionate with each other now, even if that means a simple hug when he gets off of work. I'm thrilled with how things are going..
His due credit is this.. He has truly stepped up and begun to help me out around the house. I have't even had to ask. He realizes not only am I exhausted(with reason), but also it is so much more difficult for me to do everyday chores. Such as giving Cami a bath. That is probably the toughest thing i've encountered through this pregnancy. Our tubs are very deep with high sides so my belly is all in the way. Chris has started giving her her baths at night before bed to take at least one thing off my plate. He has also been cleaning the downstairs in the mornings before heading out to work. Which is a tremendous thing to me! If my kitchen is dirty, i'm in a "heckuva" bad mood for the rest of the day. SO, even though he doesn't read my blog, I felt like I needed to give him a "shout out" and say i'm so very appreciative.
It was another Turkey Burger night. We normally do not have burgers this often, but i've been wanting them instead of the Spaghetti or Burritos that I normally make with ground turkey. We were out of cream cheese so I couldn't do the same one as last week..which was "muy delicioso!"
The effect my blogging has had on my child..*embarassed* She said "Picture Cami's" Not sure why it is so blurry..that's strange! (On a side note: she also wanted me to take pictures of her playdoh sitting in a baking pan..for no apparent reason, other than she sees me taking random pics then putting them on here. LOL! What have I done to her??)
And now 28.2 weeks with Carrah (Sorry ab the clothes..that's what I sleep in) hah!

These are from Tuesday night. We weren't that into any shows so we ate popsicles, colored, and played with stickers!! .. Can ya tell? :)
*SCREAMMMMMMMMM* I would feel much better if that had been a real scream.
My morning started off decently. Other than the cookie in my coffee, of course. But, really, I got our breakfast made, had my coffee, checked my sites online, then got ready. Then, the bad luck started...
My grandma was supposed to be here at 9:45 to watch Cami while I went to my dr visit. I waited around until the last minute, thinking she was just running late, but then I finally called her. "Helloo?" she sleepily answered. "OMG! Are you not on your way yet?" I frantically shouted. "Huh..oh goodness, it's Wedneday isn't it?" she replied. UM YES!!!!!! Grrr! I was so angry, but whatever.. that'll just put me 20 minutes behind. I hurriedly got Cami dressed, hair fixed, teeth brushed, etc.. and we ran out the door. I called my mom on the way to see if she could take her lunch early and come with me to entertain Cami. She could, thank goodness. I head out to pick her up at work and I hit every single red light in town!!!! NO LIE!
We finally pull up to the Dr's office and i'm only like 3 minutes late. Whew! I was so relieved. But then I wait and wait and wait for 45 minutes to even go back! Then I pee in the cup and wait 20 more minutes for the nurse to see me. FINALLY, she calls me to get weighed and b.p. taken. I gained 8LBS in 4 weeks!!!!!!! HOLY business..what happened to me??? That is now +18lbs for this entire pregnancy. :*( I literally almost cried. I have no been eating badly, or even that often, but I am hungry more lately and I haven't been walking at the park because it has been 100degrees, so perhaps that's why the drastic increase.
Anyway, I get back to the room and wait another 30 mins on the dang doctor!! What the crap? I was seriously angry. My mom only has an hour for her lunch and that was already passed 20 minutes before. He walks in with a big cheesey smile and asks if everything is going okay, etc.. Never once appolagizing for the wait. Argh!! My stomach was growling so loud by this point and I was dizzy so badly that I could have passed out. WHATEVER! I just wanted to be out of there.
Edited to add: The first thing the dr said when he walked in was "Wow you are actually looking pregnant now." (with his cheesey grin) WTH? That was after I found out I gained 8lbs mind you.. He did add though that he wasn't worried ab my weight at all. That I look great to him etc.. so that was nice, I guess..
We went to Subway after we left because neither of us could handle the hunger and there were 10 people in line ahead of us. Sheesh, what is with this day? Then mom got up there to pay and they said her Debit wouldn't go through. They like shouted it and made it sound like she dind't have any money in her acct. There was prob 15 ppl in line behind us by this time. It was ridiculous!!! At last we figured it out and left, shoving food in our mouth the entire way back to her work. I'm EXHAUSTED..
Oh this is embarassing! I try my best to only say good, toddler safe things around Cami and we only let her watch PBS Kids, Disney movies, etc.. She does, however, listen to the radio with me.
The other day we were sitting downstairs and she started smiling really big and said "...yo booty" I couldn't understand the first part, but it sure sounded like "Shake" The only other thing it could have been is "Check" because when I change her diaper I say "Let's check or change your booty." I've said that every single time since I can remember, so i'm holding hope that that is what she is saying. LOL!
I'm constantly telling Chris to turn off "The Family Guy", "The Simpsons", etc.. stupid shows like that because I don't want her watching or listening to them, so if she heard "Shake yo booty" from one of my songs he won't let me live it down!!
I make me a cup of coffee every morning to kick start the day, right? Well.. Sunday night I baked some cookies for my wonderful family because i'm so loving like that. But, guess who has been eating the cookies? ME you say?! Yep..sad, sad story huh?
The cookies need to be eaten, that's my excuse for nibbling them at all hours throughout the day. This morning I decided that I wanted to dip them in my coffee, so I did. When I turned around, I saw that Cami was watching me with a dead stare. "Me too moma!" haha.. crud! But I let her dip away and sure enough *ker-plop* went the cookie. There was no fishing it out either because the coffee was so hot that the cookie dissolved almost immediately. I must say, it tasted pretty good.
On a craptastic note.. There are gnats circling my waffles as I type. Ugh! Sometimes they land in the syrup on the plate and get stuck!!! Stupid little bugs!
A missing 2 year old child needs our prayers. I've been following this story and it just breaks my heart. Her mom is 22years old, only one year older than me, with a daughter the same age as mine. I just cannot imagine what she was thinking to not report to authorities that her child was missing. I'm not one to judge, but it just makes me angry. She has lied several times about several things to the police. What else is she lying about? Lord willing, that baby girl is safe somewhere.

I go to the dr tomorrow for my 28wk check up. I'm going to ask him about Zantac. I took it the other night because I have serious acid reflux/heartburn and that stuff cleared it right up..and quick!! I'm starting to feel all the little uncomfortable things now. Plus Carrah is growing quickly and her kicks are starting to hurt a tad. haha! I'm loving it though. Trying my best to enjoy every minute!!

There is a such thing as to much fruit, right? I'm so thrilled that Cami is eating, but dadgum!! Yesterday she had 2 BIG bananas all by herself for a snack! Then this morning after she finished her sausage with cheese (minus the biscuit) she wanted some "stawbees." I gave her 3, she finished them and said "more, pweaase." Hmm.. I thought about it for a minute, but then gave her 3 more. She gobbled them down so fast!! I quickly changed the subject so she wouldn't ask for more. I'm afraid it will hurt her little belly.
This is where Cami's bottles/cups have been since we started using bottles at 4months old. It has always been cluttered and unorganized, but it's getting out of hand. Seriously on my nerves too!! I was just thinking that when Carrah arrives, *Where will her bottles go?* I need some advice and tips, please!!! TIA!
