My sister (step) had to go to a funeral this morning so I watched Kinley for her. Miss Priss had a blast playing with her!! She even shared pretty well. Yesterday was Kinley's 1st birthday party, so I made her the bow in the picture below to match the outfit she wore. It's on an interchangable headband. So cute!! I made one for our new little one as well.

Here they are half way finished. I painted the outer edges with brown paint, then covered with scrapbook paper. Chris was sweet and helped me paint the little dragonflys and rabbits.
I'm going to do "Kate" as well to hang under it. I won't be hanging them by ribbon though. I found a neat idea online that i'm going to try. They had gotten a big open frame, hung on the wall, and painted the wall behind it, then placed the letters inside the frame. I thought it was pretty cute and am going to try it.
Oh and btw, the other thing is a hairbow holder I made to match. I still need to put her name on it.
You know when you have to take the elevator to get somewhere and there is only one other person standing in there? Oh, how I hate that uncomfortable silence. Do you say "Hello" or just stand in the corner..as I always do. The worst is when it is a creepy looking man, grinning ear to ear when you enter the door. Ick! I always run out and say I forgot something.
LOL..just thought i'd share.
I've been awful at posting lately. I don't have a lot to say.. I guess. I've been keeping busy making bows and trying to get things done around here. I have pics to update though. Hope I can get back into the swing of things soon.

Yes, it's true. How sad is that?? I guess that is when you know you're a mom.
I (finally!) got to buy new eye liner at the store today!!!! Yay me! I've been using black eyeshadow, very carefully might I add, around the corners of my eyes to look like eye liner. It's been a pain and it just doesn't look the same.. so I am thrilled! hehe :P
Miss Priss learned a new phrase. To bad she says it at the most inopportune times.
Me: We need to go to Wal Mart and buy groceries.
Her: *Sad look on her face, looks down at the floor.* "I'dnt want to!"
Me: You don't want to??
Her: Nooo, I'nt milk..bed!
Me: Milk?? You need to take a nap
Her: YEP!
And she did.. LOL!! She woke up super early yesterday and today, so I guess she was in need of some sleep and she knew it! haha :)

UPDATE: I've been working my bum off trying to get some more things done. I'm really happy with the bows i've finished!! Now, I just need to learn how to do baby bows and headbands.

As you all know we had agreed on Cadence. WELL..we agreed on it, but I didn't love it. I honestly don't think Chris does either. It was just something we could both settle on and call it done. Obviously not in my mind. haha!
Anyway, I began to think that people might try to call her "Cady" or someother variation of "Katie" I don't have anything against the name, except that one of my BFF in highschool was named Katie and I don't want people thinking I named my DD after her. Also I just found out another one of my old friends is having a baby in Aug or Sept and naming her Kaydi. WOW! So after much thought and discussion, we've settled on the name we were originally going to give Cami and then again to this baby... Carrah.
Chris almost wouldn't give that name up last time I was pregnant, but he finally let it go after we found Camiana. Then when we found out this one is a Girl too, he suggested it again. The only difference was he wanted it spelled Cara. That, to me, is hard to pronounce, so I said I like it better with the "rrah"
AnyWHO.. after that long post, you now know i'm indecissive and can't be totally trusted with baby names. haha! This one should stick though.. the only time I may change it is when she is born, but I doubt it! HELP name fairy!! LOL j/k.

that I love to eat raw biscuits?? I have eaten them raw for years now and just wondered tonight if perhaps it was safe to eat while preg? LOL! I could seriously eat the whole tube of biscuits..raw! YUM!!

This picture was right after we got the stroller in May. I did NOT show her what to do with the carseat. I'm guessing she knows that a baby goes in there from seeing her little cousin Kinley in hers. I was cleaning up the room and she was playing with the stroller and I looked up and saw her like this.. standing on the wheel, putting the baby in the carseat! LOL!
This one was yesterday. She does it ALL the time now, but I still find it hilarious that she knows what to do.
So I did it yall!! I overcame my fears and took Miss Priss swimming in the big pool. She LOVED it!! I actually had a lot of fun as well. I haven't been in the water in a LONG time. I was amazed at how wonderful it felt to be in the water pregnant. LOL! The heat has been zapping me. I had to wear a tank top over my suit because my boozies were hanging out. I'm waiting on my maternity swim suit to come in the mail so I had to wear my old one from when I was 16! Oh and Miss Priss has a new swim suit too because her 2 piece kept falling off of her bum. :)

I do realize that I look skanktastic, but we had a good time, so what can ya do? :P
